My Food Review
One food I can't resist since I was little is baked rice. I haven't had them for a while, so I went to a restaurant nearby with some of my friends to taste the mouth-watering dish once again. The restaurant was called Nanny's Pavillon. It was a cozy place, with a natural atmosphere that will surely make you want to come back. The place was decorated with plants and was designed like an actual dollhouse. It was indeed a unique place. There are a lot of Nanny's Pavillon around, but I went to the one in Central Park. It was located very near to the Tribeca Park.
I had Bryce's Chicken Baked Rice, which was served with a heavenly cheesy sensation. Alongside, I had a regular lychee tea as the beverage. The baked rice was very rich in taste and boosted my stamina. It was made of baked butter rice with chicken, topped off with special homemade brown sauce and melted cheese. Some other ingredients include cream, black pepper, and some garnishes. The idea of mixing the sauce and cheese with the rice was yet brilliant and extraordinary. The rice was a little bit creamy in texture but was overall buttery. The chicken was perfectly fried and tasted just right with the unique flavor of the brown sauce. It smells super cheesy and appetizing. The food tasted flavorsome and delicious, the strong cheese flavor stayed for days. Aside from the amazing taste and smell of the food, it looked very appealing. Not to mention the very reasonable and fairly acceptable price, the baked rice was definitely worthed for only IDR 55,000.
I strongly recommend visiting Nanny's Pavillon if anyone is looking for affordable tasty food served in a good place. Nanny's Pavillon serves a variety of other dishes too, but among all that, their baked rice is still my first choice.
